Shukrana OTT Release

Shukrana, a film released in theaters on September 27, featured popular actors like Neeru Bajwa, Jas Bajwa, B.N. Sharma, Harby Sangha, Seema Kaushal, and Rupinder Rupi. Written by Jagdeep Singh Warring, the film takes a break from the usual Punjabi comedy trend, offering a heartfelt family story instead.

Although Shukrana did not receive a strong box office response, it’s considered a family film that deserved more recognition. Part of the reason for its modest success was the simultaneous release of other Punjabi films, and since Shukrana isn’t a mass entertainer, it didn’t resonate as strongly with the general audience. Currently, Shukrana’s OTT rights haven’t been picked up by any platform, but we’ll update you as soon as there’s news.

Shahkot OTT Release

Shahkot was released a week after Shukrana, starring Isha Talwar, Guru Randhawa, Hardeep Gill, Gurshabad Singh, Seema Kaushal, Shahid Gulfam, and Bharat Bhariyal. This film explores themes of India and Pakistan, which led to some controversy. It’s also Guru Randhawa’s debut in Punjabi cinema, where his character falls in love with a Pakistani girl. While the film did fairly well at the box office, Guru Randhawa’s fans eagerly await its OTT release.

The OTT rights for Shahkot are held by Cable One, the production company behind the film. Cable One plans to release Shahkot on its OTT platform in January.

Tabaah OTT Release

Tabaah received great love from audiences, despite minimal promotion. If you’ve watched Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh, this movie will feel familiar, featuring a similar story of a heartbroken, self-destructive lover. Tabaah stars Parmish Verma, Wamiqa Gabbi, Kavi Singh, and Dheeraj Kumar. Parmish Verma returns to Punjabi cinema after a long time. The OTT premiere of Tabaah is set for Chaupal TV, where it will soon be available for streaming.

For fans of Punjabi cinema, these films offer diverse stories with familiar faces. Stay tuned to your favorite OTT platforms to catch their premieres.
