Due to the tense national atmosphere following the Operation Sindoor incident, the team felt it was better to let viewers watch the film from the comfort and safety of their homes.

In an official statement, the makers said,
“We were excited to celebrate this film with audiences in theaters, but the nation’s sentiment comes first. Jai Hind.”
This thoughtful decision has been widely appreciated by fans across social media.
New Release Date and OTT Platform
The makers have also shifted the release date. Now, Bhool Chook Maaf will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 16, 2025.
They shared this update through a social media post, with a message that read:
“Nation first. Watch Bhool Chook Maaf directly on Prime Video, May 16.”
This has raised excitement among fans who were eagerly waiting for the film’s release.
