Preparations are in full swing for the launch of the new season, with registrations and auditions for KBC 17 already underway since April. The first episode of Season 17 is expected to air around July or August 2025.
While the official release date has not yet been confirmed by the show’s makers, a significant update has come directly from veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, also known as the “Shahenshah of Bollywood.” He has officially announced that he will not be hosting KBC 17. Instead, Salman Khan will step into the role as the new host.
Why Did Amitabh Bachchan Leave KBC 17?
Amitabh Bachchan has hosted 15 seasons of Kaun Banega Crorepati so far. However, due to ongoing health issues, he faced several challenges while completing the previous season.
