The fantasy romantic comedy “Bhool Chuk Maaf” starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi has finally confirmed its OTT release time. After a decent run in theatres, the film is now set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

Produced by Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios, the film has made a strong mark at the box office. As per reports, “Bhool Chuk Maaf” has collected ₹65.53 crore so far. The movie, directed by Dinesh Vijan, was released in theatres on 23 May 2025 and had a reported budget of ₹50 crore.

The Controversy Behind the Quick OTT Shift
The early release decision has an unusual backstory. PVR INOX initially refused to screen the film, which led the producers to approach the court. After the court’s intervention, the film was granted permission to run in theatres for only two weeks. Due to this legal situation, the production house chose to release it quickly on OTT after the theatrical window ended.
Despite the initial doubts about the film’s content, audience reviews turned out to be positive. The unique story and the performances by Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi won the hearts of viewers, helping the film succeed.
Confirmed OTT Release Date and Time
Bhool Chuk Maaf will stream on Amazon Prime Video from 6 June 2025. The film will become available exactly at midnight, as soon as 5 June ends. That means at 12:00 AM on 6 June, viewers will be able to watch the movie on Prime Video.
