Originally, Sitaare Zameen Par was scheduled to release on 25th December 2024, just in time for Christmas. However, due to certain delays, the release was pushed back, leaving fans waiting eagerly.

Now, Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that Sitaare Zameen Par will release in theatres on 20th June 2025.
According to reports, Aamir carefully chose this date because no major film releases are planned around that time, giving his movie a better chance to perform well at the box office.
Additionally, the film’s trailer is expected to launch on 1st May 2025. Reports suggest that the trailer will be showcased in theatres alongside Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Raid 2.
What Is the Theme of the Film?
In Taare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan played a kind and understanding teacher, touching the hearts of audiences everywhere.
However, in Sitaare Zameen Par, he will show a completely different side of himself. This time, Aamir will play an angry sports coach. The movie will be a sports comedy-drama, offering both laughter and emotional moments.
While the original movie made audiences emotional with its sensitive storytelling, Sitaare Zameen Par promises to entertain viewers with humor while still highlighting important social issues related to mental abilities and challenges.
