BJP MP Tejasvi Surya from Bengaluru South married Sivasri Skandaprasad, a renowned Carnatic singer and Bharatanatyam dancer, in a traditional and intimate ceremony in Bengaluru on March 6, 2025. The wedding was attended by several close associates, BJP leaders, and Ministers, who shared images of the newlyweds on social media.
The ceremony was graced by prominent political figures, including Union Ministers of State V. Sommanna and Arjun Ram Meghwal, MPs P.C. Mohan and Shobha Karandlaje, State BJP President B.Y. She made her debut in film music by lending her voice to “Vanathi’s Message,” a song featured in AR Rahman’s score for Ponniyin Selvan. Along with her successful music career, Sivasri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Sastra University, an MA in Bharatanatyam from Chennai University, and an MA in Sanskrit from Chennai Sanskrit College.
