In February 2025, Kiara publicly announced her pregnancy.
Based on the timing of her announcement, she would now be in her second trimester.
During pregnancy, Kiara does not want to take any health risks, especially with the physical demands of film shooting.
Because of this, she decided to pause her work commitments, leading to a delay in the film’s production.
New Release Date for Shakti Shalini
Initially, Maddock Films had planned to release Shakti Shalini in December 2025.
However, due to Kiara’s pregnancy, the film will not release this year.
Now, the makers have decided to shift the release to 2026.
Fans will have to wait a little longer to see Kiara in her new horror-comedy avatar.
