The Telugu film “Robinhood”, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela, is all set to premiere on OTT. The movie was released in theatres on March 28, 2025, and was directed by Venky Kudumula. The film tells the story of Ram, played by Nithiin, an orphan who becomes a modern-day Robin Hood. He steals from the rich to help the poor. The plot takes a new turn when he is given the responsibility to protect a billionaire’s daughter, played by Sreeleela.
The main events unfold in a village, where a corrupt officer is planning to expand his illegal business. As the conflict builds, the performances of both Nithiin and Sreeleela have been appreciated by the audience.

When and Where to Watch?
For those who missed it in cinemas, the good news is that Robinhood will premiere on ZEE5. The digital rights have been acquired by the streaming platform, and the film will release on May 2, 2025.
Usually, films with strong box office performance stay longer in theatres. But since Robinhood didn’t meet expectations, it is now making an early entry to OTT.
Box Office Performance
Before its release, there were high expectations from the film. However, it failed to match the audience’s hopes. So far, Robinhood has earned around ₹13.29 crore worldwide, while its estimated budget was between ₹60 to ₹70 crore.
Critics gave the film a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars, pointing out that the execution didn’t live up to its potential.
Final Verdict
Despite its average box office run, Robinhood offers an emotional and action-packed story with strong performances. If you enjoy hero-centric dramas with social themes, this film might be worth watching when it drops on ZEE5 on May 2, 2025.
