However, Shehnaz did not return to work the next day and also stopped answering phone calls. This raised suspicion, and when Manju checked the house, she found that expensive gold jewelry and cash were missing.

Manju further said that Shehnaz had seen her many times placing and removing jewelry and money from a secret spot in the house. This knowledge is believed to have helped her plan the theft.
