Aashiqui 3 Shooting Begins in Gangtok: Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela’s Special Scenes Caught by Drone

The shooting of Aashiqui 3 has officially begun under the direction of Anurag Basu. The film is being produced by Vishesh Films and T-Series. The first Aashiqui film, released in July 1990, was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. Despite its small budget of just 1 crore, it earned an impressive 5 crore at the box office, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal.

The second installment, Aashiqui 2, was directed by Mohit Suri. With a budget of 15 crore, the film, featuring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, earned a remarkable 109 crore at the box office, thanks to its hit songs and engaging content.

Aashiqui 3’s New Star Cast

Now, after a 12-year gap, Aashiqui 3 is back in production. This time, Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela will take on the lead roles. The film is being made by the same production companies as before.

Where is Aashiqui 3 Being Shot?

The shooting of Aashiqui 3 is happening in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Many Bollywood films, including Jab We Met, Highway, and Barfi, have also been shot in this beautiful city. After shooting Barfi there, Anurag Basu fell in love with the location and decided to film Aashiqui 3 in Gangtok too.

Sikkim’s government has been promoting tourism by attracting Bollywood to film in the state, making it an exciting destination for filmmakers.

Special Scenes Caught by Drone

Sreeleela, the female lead in Aashiqui 3, has a fascinating background. She was born in the United States and completed her MBBS degree from Hyderabad. She has worked in several South Indian films such as Pelli Sandadi, Kiss, Guntur Karam, Dhamaka, and Bhagwant Kesari.

Sreeleela became famous for her song “Kurchi Madathapetti” from Guntur Karam and is now ready to captivate Bollywood audiences with her beauty and talent. Born on June 14, 2001, she has made a name for herself in the South Indian film industry.
