Takeshi Castle has enthusiastic fans all over the world. Launched in 1986 by the Tokyo Broadcasting System, the show pits contestants against various difficult physical challenges in a bid to storm Takeshi Castle and win the grand prize.
The owner of this castle is Takeshi Kitano, who created these tough physical challenges.
The original show had between 86 and 142 participants.
Takeshi Castle’s influence has been seen in several other shows including Total Wipeout, Ninja Warrior, Ultimate Beastmaster and even Jackass.
Meanwhile, Bhuvan Bam rose to fame as a YouTube content creator with his channel ‘BB ki Vines’. He also appeared in TVF web series Bachelors, Titu Talks and Dhindora.
