The wait is finally over. One of the world’s most popular Korean series, Squid Game, has officially released the teaser for Season 3. The teaser was launched today, May 6, 2025, at around 6:00 AM IST, creating a buzz across fans globally.
English and Hindi Teasers Released
Initially, the teaser was released in English, but fans in India didn’t have to wait long. The Hindi version of the teaser dropped at 8:45 AM IST the same day. Interestingly, both teasers are quite different in tone and style.
There are no dialogues in either version, which adds to the mystery and suspense surrounding the upcoming season.

Official Release Date Confirmed
Along with the teaser, Netflix India has also announced the official release date. Squid Game Season 3 will premiere on June 27, 2025, exclusively on Netflix. The release falls in the second quarter of the year, as fans had long speculated.
What the Teaser Reveals
The teaser gives a dark and chilling look into the upcoming season. One of the most striking scenes shows the returning lead, Seong Gi-hun (Player 456), trapped inside a coffin.
It remains unclear whether he is actually dead or if it’s just a psychological tactic to scare the other players. The teaser deliberately keeps these questions unanswered to build anticipation.
As the teaser progresses, we see the surviving players from Season 2 appear one by one. These include:
